Money moved. It leaves a trail.

We are a fraud investigation and asset-tracing practice. We reconstruct what happened to your money, identify where it went, and build a documented case that a bank, a regulator or a law enforcement agency can act on.

Do these three things first — before you hire anyone

They are free, and they matter more than anything we can do later.

  1. 01

    Tell your bank today

Card and transfer disputes have short statutory windows. Ask them to attempt a recall and to record the date you reported it.

  2. 02

    File an official report

Reporting to the police and the relevant national fraud body costs nothing and creates the reference number every later step depends on. Where to report.

  3. 03

    Preserve everything

Keep messages, receipts, wallet addresses and transaction IDs exactly as they are. Screenshot before anything gets deleted.

What we do

Investigation and evidence, not promises

Nobody can guarantee that stolen money comes back. What can be done is establish the facts quickly and put them in front of the parties who have the power to freeze, recall or prosecute.

Trace the funds

Follow payments through bank rails, payment processors and public blockchains to the accounts, exchanges or merchants that received them.

Identify the counterparty

Open-source and commercial-database research to attribute accounts, companies, domains and phone numbers to real, servable entities.

Package the case

A written report with an exhibit index, prepared to the standard a bank's fraud team, a regulator or a prosecutor expects to receive.

Escalate the complaint

Structured complaints to the receiving institution, the payment scheme, the financial ombudsman or the relevant regulator in the jurisdiction concerned.

Support legal action

Work alongside your own solicitor on freezing orders, disclosure applications and civil claims. We are investigators — we do not provide legal advice.

Tell you when to stop

If the trail ends at an unregulated exchange or a jurisdiction with no realistic route to recovery, we say so in writing rather than billing you to keep looking.

Track record

How we measure a case, honestly

Aggregate figures on a page are easy to write and hard to verify, which is exactly why we don't lead with them. What we publish instead is the standard every case is held to.

Written assessment
Every case, whether we take it on or not, ends stage one with a written answer on whether there is a realistic route — not a verbal "let's proceed."
Independent verification
Our licensing, registration and indemnity cover (above) are all checkable directly with the issuing body, without going through us.
Evidence standard
Reports distinguish what the evidence establishes from what it merely suggests, and are built to be handed to a bank, regulator or court without rework.
Case references
Available on request, subject to client consent and appropriate redaction — never published without permission, and never as marketing copy.

Case intelligence

A clearer picture

Information that turns a difficult story into a case file.

A well-run recovery practice starts with structure: the timeline, the payment path, the evidence and the right place to escalate.

01

Build the timeline

Capture key events, contacts and payments in chronological order so patterns become visible quickly.

02

Map the money

Connect accounts, payment platforms and transaction references into a concise funds-flow record.

03

Choose the route

Match the evidence to the party with authority to review, dispute, freeze or investigate it.

Warning

If someone has already contacted you offering to get your money back

Be extremely careful. Approaching fraud victims with an unsolicited recovery offer is itself one of the most common follow-up scams. Lists of people who have already lost money are traded between criminal groups precisely because those people are the easiest to approach a second time.

We do not cold-call, cold-email or message people on social media. If someone claiming to be from Fairfund Recovery contacts you out of the blue, it is not us — please tell us so we can report it.

Start with an assessment, not a contract

Send us what happened. We will tell you whether there is a realistic trail worth following — and if there isn't, we will tell you that instead.
